How Will You Go Red for Women?

National Wear Red Day is tomorrow, Friday, February 5, 2016!

Here at the Indiana University School of Nursing, we take health seriously which is why we are participating in the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign.

According to the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women’s website,

Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds.

IU School of Nursing will participate in the Go Red for Women campaign tomorrow by encouraging all faculty, staff, and students to wear red, sharing heart healthy tips and information, and will attend the February 19th Go Red for Women Luncheon.

One more Go Red for Women video:

Information about the luncheon, the American Heart Association, and other Go Red for Women events can be found here.
